Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist (Full-time and Part-Time)

Job Duties

• therapeutic support for  individuals or groups with Behavioral Health Issues
• assist clients in making life connections and developing support services
• Develop and implement individual treatment plans
• Establish treatment goals and milestones with clients
• Prepare progress reports and letters for relevant parties
• Educate families and groups on Medicaid-compliant treatments and prevention programs
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare or counseling professionals
• Keep Accurate and Medicaid-compliant documentation
• Lead or assist in Group therapy

Qualifications

• Previous experience in case management, social work, or other related fields
• Experience in conflict resolution
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have Transportation, Valid License, and Insurance

Education  

• High school or equivalent (Required)
• Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)

Salary: $18.00 to $30.00 /hour
